* Became part of the folk music scene in Greenwich Village during the first half of the 1960s.

* It was Stephen Stills who suggested Peter audition for The Monkees.

* Peter was the first to leave the Monkees. He created a band called "Release", but had no success.

* Taught and coached baseball at a private school for a few years in the 70's.

* Is currently touring with his band Shoe Suede Blues.
